Get true One-Way-View Privacy. Clearly see out while keeping others
from seeing in. Privacy for your porch, patio or balcony
area. PTI Sun Shade Solar Screen.
|
|
PTI
solar
shade screen mesh (80% and 90%) is woven and
formulated to provide high daytime privacy from outside
viewing. And you, from the inside looking out, have
a clear view to the outside.
|
|
The
pictures of actual installations shown here, with
inserts, provide a view of the amazing difference between looking out
and looking in.

How does it work? Privacy on your porch, patio,
balcony or within your sunroom is acquired by the combination of ambient lighting differential and
the solar screen's reflective coefficient.** This
combination makes the screen appear as a "solid" during daytime
hours to outside viewers (more lighted area). Simply
put,: reflected light beams are more predominate than the
dimmer beams making their way through the fine screen
mesh pores. Obviously, a dense material is more
reflective. However, the
more dense the material, the less you can see from the
inside out! PTI has answered that problem.

To have a clear and undistorted view of the outside, from behind a solar screen that gives
high privacy (and still retains it's solar protection), it is essential for the screen mesh to be
of high porosity and to be constructed and formulated to provide
what could be called, "selective radiation defusing."
The porosity gives passage to the
visual light spectrum while a chemical defusing of the
high frequency energy protects from radiation that causes molecular
breakdown and creates heat.

Maintaining these essentials while decreasing screen
mesh density is
accomplished by weaving very small
diameter extrusion coated highly reflective round strands
into a given
area ("round" increases the surface area for
solar ray defusing by a factor 1.57 to 1). This provides an equal number of open spaces (pores) of
proportionate size. The visual light from the brighter
area passing through a high porosity "open" area is predominate to
the eye and the vision is clear. The heat generating
ultra violet rays are deflected and defused by the
extruded coating of inhibitors on the woven stands.

|
**
Lighter colors, due to higher reflectivity, provide
greatest privacy when lighting on both sides of the screen becomes nearly equal. It is also noteworthy to mention here that distance away from the screen
decreases the ability to see through.

Clearer
visibility with see through privacy on your porch,
patio, balcony is inherent with all PTI Shade Screen
Materials.

PTI advanced solar
screen materials outperform all other solar
materials on the market in the areas of protection, view
and privacy. By incorporating complex formulas
derived from NASA inspired and affiliated research
laboratories, PTI solar screen materials meet and exceed
the essential requirements for
privacy and clear view. What
was good for outer space has brought "down to
earth" results. You can truly "keep the view"
and have privacy too!
