Stop Sun Heat and Glare with Custom
Solar Shade Screen Sections & Curtains for Patio, Porch or Balcony.
Keep the View and Have Privacy Too!
|
ProTect
custom
sun shade solar
screen sections and slide back curtains give shade and protection on patios,
porches, sunrooms, balconies and decks where you need it
and when you need it.
|
|
Common applications
consist of:
|
 |
Grommet edged sections for
use as hang-in-place or to mount permanently
|
 |
Custom
designed sections for slide back solar shade curtains |
 |
Pre-cut sizes and shapes to
facilitate enclosing small porches and patios |
|
|

This simple hang-in-place application was all that was
needed to provide instant relief from the burning
sunlight on their southern exposure. Customer reported a
significant temperature drop throughout the day.
|
|

Hanging slide back curtains provide privacy as well as
solar protection. With closely spaced grommets
across the top and a stainless steel chain for weight
sewn into a pocket on the bottom, the result is a
curtain that slides effortlessly along a tight cable or
a standard curtain track. (

Any size
any shape.
|
Any Size or Shape (with
or without grommets) will be custom made to your
specifications. This allows you to tightly
enclose porch, patio, balcony, screen room openings or to conveniently hang any
size section in place.

About Grommets, Weaves &
Edges: |
|

No hem, clean cut edges are aesthetically pleasing for small
openings.
|
Clean Cut Edges are
often preferred when enclosing small openings.
Hems are not necessary when the solar shade
screen weave is either 80% or 90% and the size
is 30 sq. ft. or less. Grommets will hold well
and the edges won't fray.

All other weaves and larger sizes of 80% and 90%
with grommets on
the edges
should be hemmed for adequate strength.
|
 |
|
|

Hemmed
edges for
added
strength
|
Hemmed edges give added strength
and should be employed for larger sections (more
than 30 sq. ft.)
of 80% and 90% solar shade weaves. Other weave densities,
whether they be small or large (including PolyCB2
HD-60), should be
ordered with hemmed edges.
|
 |
|
|

Grommet choices.
|
Grommet choices are available for
all weaves. The twist lock marine style grommets
are ideal for easy seasonal attaching and removing.
Screen mesh tarps will not become brittle
with use or with age. They can be rolled up, stored
and remounted as often as you wish.

protected for long life and fade prevention. |
 |

 |

blown debris. Up to 200 lb ball burst strength. |
|
|
PolyCB2 Screen Mesh Tarps by ProTect have made inroads everywhere. They have been used
in "limited" area golf driving ranges where the tarp
absorbs the shock and safely drops the ball.

In Little League ballparks, tarps made with the 60%
solar weave keep players in the dugout cool with a
perfect combination of shade and high airflow. There is
no limit to the versatility of these tarps. |
